What is the MRC Student Business Hub?
The MRC Student Business Hub is a platform designed to showcase and support entrepreneurial ventures initiated by Mont Rose College students. It is a central space where student-run businesses can promote their services and products to the college community and beyond.
Who is eligible to list their business on the Hub?
All current students of Mont Rose College are eligible to list their businesses on the Hub. Alums within one /two years of graduation may also apply, subject to approval.
Is there a fee to list my business?
No, listing your business on the MRC Student Business Hub is free of charge.
How can I explore the businesses listed on the Hub?
You can browse businesses by category, use the search function to find specific ventures, or view featured businesses highlighted monthly.
How do I submit my business to the Hub?
To submit your business, click the “Submit Your Business” button on the homepage. Fill out the submission form with your business details, including name, description, category, and contact information.
What are the criteria for listing my business?
Your business must be student-owned, comply with college policies, and adhere to legal and ethical standards. All submissions are reviewed for appropriateness and completeness.
Can I update my business information after submission?
Yes, you can request updates to your business information by contacting the Student Union with the necessary changes.
How are featured businesses selected?
Featured businesses are selected based on innovation, community impact, and engagement criteria. Nominations are reviewed quarterly by the Student Union members and the Marketing Department.
How can I contact a business listed on the Hub?
Each business listing includes contact details such as email addresses, phone numbers, or social media links. Use these channels to reach out directly.
Does the college verify the businesses on the Hub?
While the Student Engagement Department reviews each submission for compliance with guidelines, it does not authorise or officially verify the businesses. Users are encouraged to show their due care.
What should I do if I encounter issues with the platform?

Can I advertise my business through the MRC’s social media?
