Teaching Excellence Framework

Mont Rose College of Management and Sciences has gained the TEF Silver Award. The award is valid for one year.

Mont Rose College is an Independent Higher Education Provider, providing the highest quality education and an excellent student experience for the last twelve years. As an educational institution, we do everything that is in our power to motivate, encourage and shape people’s lives for the better. Over the years we have worked with so many people and helped them to achieve what they believed was not achievable and succeed beyond their expectations! We see students blossom on their journey with us and they are happy that they chose Mont Rose College as their education provider!

Mont Rose College was awarded Silver based on assessment of six key criteria including teaching quality, academic support, student progression, employability and success. It consistently exceeds rigorous national quality requirements for UK higher education. The TEF results give our prospective students confidence that they will receive the best teaching quality, learning environments and excellent career prospects.

Below is the TEF outcome report, provided to the Mont Rose College of Management and Sciences:

“The TEF Panel reviewed the provider metrics and provider submission according to the process and criteria specified in the TEF guidance.

The provider metrics supplemented by the submission indicate that students from all backgrounds achieve excellent outcomes. In particular, the Panel noted that levels of student satisfaction are exceptionally high and above the provider’s benchmark. Continuation rates similarly exceed the benchmark. While rates of progression to employment and further study are consistent with the provider’s benchmark, rates of progression to highly skilled employment and further study fall below benchmark. The Panel judged that this was partially addressed by the provider submission.

The Panel considered the provider’s submission in relation to the TEF criteria and its judgement reflects, in particular, evidence of:

• Appropriate and consistent use of teaching and assessment materials

• A strong commitment to student-focused learning and engagement through opportunities to undertake experiential learning

• The introduction of employability initiatives that enable students to acquire knowledge, skills and understanding that are highly valued by employers.

Overall, the TEF Panel judged that the combination of evidence in the provider metrics and the provider submission best fits the descriptor for a Silver award.”

Mont Rose College is very proud of its achievement and will continue working hard to provide high quality education and student experience and achieve our most ambitious goals!
