Quality Assurance
Fabrice Teyssedou
Academic Quality Assurance Manager
After completing an HND in Hospitality Management and a university degree in Business and Marketing in France, I have spent nearly 20 years working in the Food and Beverage industry within contract caterers, merchant navy, bars, and restaurants in a holiday resort, hotels, and private member club.
During this time, I spent 10 years as a departmental trainer in the Royal Automobile Club and after completing a PTTLS course in 2013, I started to teach Hospitality Management on a part-time basis at Mont Rose College in 2014, becoming a full-time lecturer in 2016.
In 2018, I completed a PGCert in Education at Anglia Ruskin University, becoming a Fellow with ADVANCE HE, as well as a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing the Quality of Assessment.
While still teaching and helping to set up the Welfare department in 2018, I started to work in Quality Assurance with the Hospitality internal verification of assessment in January 2019 and obtained a Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice. Since then, I have started an MSc in Responsible Tourism Management at Leeds Beckett University.
Finally, following the completion of a Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice in 2023, I was promoted, in May of that year, to the position of Academic Quality Assurance Manager, leading the Quality Assurance department which includes being the Lead Internal verification officer for all the academic departments while managing the diverse quality assurance details.
