Michael Semuguruka, BSc (Hons) Accounting

Student Finance Support Officer

I joined Mont Rose College in January 2022. Working in the Student Finance Department has allowed me to have a greater appreciation for the role of student finance support that is given to our students in addition to the hardship fund support, which Mont Rose College provides to those of our students who may be faced with financial challenges during their period of study. It is always a pleasure to see the success of our students as they navigate what may be uncharted waters of higher education for them.

I have always been fascinated by the nature and scheme of things and thoroughly enjoy intellectual debates from having conversations not only with our students but also with our academics and administration staff.

My outlook on life is that one should never cease from the quest to learn something new every day: “I am a student and a teacher of someone” in the landscape of knowledge.
