Apply for a Start Up Loan

Apply for a government-backed Start Up Loan to start or grow your business. Unlike a standard business loan, this is an unsecured personal loan – you'll need to pass a credit check.

Small Business Rate Relief

You may be eligible if:

  • Your property's rateable value is less than £15,000
  • Your business only uses one property (exceptions apply)
Apply for Small Business Rate Relief
Local Support – Small Business Rate Relief

Redbridge Council – Occupied Properties Only

If your business is based in Redbridge, you may be eligible for Small Business Rate Relief on your occupied property. You can apply if you only use one property and your property's rateable value is less than £15,000.

What You Get

  • Properties valued under £12,000 — no business rates to pay
  • Properties valued £12,001–£15,000 — graduated relief from 100% to 0%

If You Use More Than One Property

  • Each additional property must have a rateable value of less than £2,900
  • Total combined rateable value must not exceed £27,999
