In my capacity of Student Services Assistant Manager, I am a valued member of the Mont Rose College team, who possesses the desirable attributes that stem from my educational background and extensive experience in higher education administration. The excellent communication skills and abilities gained from previous tenures highlight my aptitude for effectively planning and progressing work within established regulatory compliance in higher education, ensure compliance with established codes of practice and foster a culture of accountability and integrity. My adeptness at defining priorities, managing unforeseen challenges with initiative and judgment, and working flexibly under pressure is instrumental in managing deadlines and addressing conflicting demands, ensures seamless operations within the Student Services Department. My dedication to promote excellence in student services through continuous improvement initiatives, in tandem with my strong desire to continue to positively impact the College community, are a testimony to my unwavering commitment to enhancing the educational journey for all students at Mont Rose College.

Fawaz Al-Rassas

Student Services Administrator

I have a Master’s degree in International Development Policy from the prestigious Seoul National University which is one of the world’s top 50 public universities as it is ranked #41 in QS World Universities Rankings 2024.

Additionally, I am a diplomat by profession, and I worked in the domain of Multilateral Diplomacy and International Relations for more than 16 years. Not only that, but I have also participated in many regional and international meetings and conferences before changing career and moving to the private sector. I have worked in different companies before joining this amazing place where I hope that I can be an added value to its invaluable members.

At Mont Rose College, I work as a Student Services Administrator and my tasks vary from assisting in the preparation for the new semesters, acting as the first point of contact for students and stakeholders, and helping the students, to monitoring the attendance and issuing the letters they may need. I enjoy working with students as I like interacting with people from different ethnic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds. I also have a published book titled “The Yemeni Foreign Policy towards the Horn of Africa from a Security Perspective”.

Monisah Aaminah Akram

I have worked at Mont Rose College since September 2021.

Previously working in the customer services sector and retail, I moved into education through my previous job as an admissions/marketing officer, which led me to my current position at Mont Rose College.

In the last 2 and a half years in this prestigious company as a Student Services Administrator, I have gained a vast amount of knowledge and a new set of skills, utilising and improving my existing ones and experiences.   This ensures that I can dedicate time and energy to supporting all students fully throughout their academic studies.

Student Services Officer

As a graduate of Law from the University of Hertfordshire, I possess a professional demeanour geared towards delivering quality services. Despite my legal background, I have a strong interest in educational environments and regulatory compliance. With previous experience in a similar field at an International University, particularly in Malaysia, I have gained invaluable firsthand experience within a similar milieu, where I diligently navigated the intricacies of international student affairs, admissions protocols, and immigration matters. Additionally, I have actively contributed to organising events for international students and participated in relevant seminars and trips. Currently, I serve as a Student Services Officer at Mont Rose College, where I am steadfastly committed to furnishing student-centric provisions spanning from general inquiries to adeptly directing individuals to the appropriate departments. Having become an integral member of Mont Rose College’s convivial and inclusive team since February 6th 2023, my tenure thus far has been characterized by unwavering dedication towards enhancing the student experience and effecting positive change amidst their multifaceted challenges.

I am a Student Services Administrator here at Mont Rose College. I joined in February 2024 on Valentine’s Day! I started my career at Primark, working on the weekends as a sales assistant and finally supervisor – all while studying at the University of East London to get my BA (Hons) in Business Management. Having a passion for administration and customer service, I was fortunate to land myself a job at Mont Rose College. I have always believed in supporting people so they can have a chance to excel in life and bringing a supportive attitude to people will help achieve that. My job here at Mont Rose College is to help support the academic staff and the students.
