MRC Student Services
Mr Imran Bilal
Student Services Manager
I have been working at Mont Rose College for the past 10 years. As the Student Services Manager, one of my primary roles is to create an environment where students can study comfortably and realise their potential. I also oversee the Welfare Service and work closely with the rest of the departments. I have a fondness for reading books and practising sports within my spare time!
Ms Orla Daly
During my time working at Mont Rose College as part of the Student Services team, my role as the Attendance Officer has allowed me to improve my Customer Service Skills in order to assist our students with any enquiries that they may have. I try to make their learning journey at Mont Rose College as pleasurable as can be.
Mr Ashfaq Shaikh
Student Support Administrative/Prevent Officer
I form an integral part of Student Services. Having once been a student myself I understand that it isn’t always easy, so whether you’re finding it hard to keep up academically, struggling with personal problems or you just need some information or advice, the team works extremely hard to provide all our students with resources and information which they require.
Mr Milan Patel
Student Welfare coordinator
My role as a Welfare Coordinator is to provide information on all the means of support available to students, which include: Referring a Student to Pastoral Services, Mont Rose College Services, Sources of Financial and Hardship support, and more. My time at Mont Rose College has provided me with a deeper understanding and experience within student well-being and mental health services.
Student Services Assistant
I’m one of the new members in the Mont Rose College team, I’m part of the student services department which is an integral part of the college that supports students in every aspect of their academic journey with us. I hold a Bachelors in Sociology and English Literature. I enjoy reading, hiking, trekking, traveling, exploring new places and food.
Buddy Scheme Officer and Academic Mentor
I began my journey at Mont Rose College as a student studying Health and Social Care. During my time here, I have taken up a part-time role in the welfare department to support fellow students. I have gained a lot of skills and knowledge whilst studying and working at Mont Rose College. Working with departments and my peers has helped me to develop my communicating skills and also make a difference in students’ academic and personal life.
Working as an Employability Coordinator, I have thoroughly practiced CV writing, cover letters, and recruitment guidance for a smooth transition from student to career life. I provide confidential, professional and sound advice to our MRC students regarding employment. My current position is a great addition to my 10 plus years of experience as a facilitator, manager, and business administrator in various job positions.
I’m a member of the employability department at MRC. I offer support and guidance in all aspects of employability, ranging from helping students with CV writing and cover letters, to finding work and placements. I hold a BSc in Sociology and have experience in customer service, telecommunications and research. In my spare time, I’m an avid writer. Employability is often hard to navigate, so feel free to reach out for some handy advice.
