MRC Welfare and Employability Team
Mr Imran Bilal
Student Services Manager
I have been working at Mont Rose College for the past 10 years. As the Student Services Manager, one of my primary roles is to create an environment where students can study comfortably and realise their potential. I also oversee the Welfare Service and work closely with the rest of the departments. I have a fondness for reading books and practising sports within my spare time!
Ms Orla Daly
During my time working at Mont Rose College as part of the Student Services team, my role as the Attendance Officer has allowed me to improve my Customer Service Skills in order to assist our students with any enquiries that they may have. I try to make their learning journey at Mont Rose College as pleasurable as can be.
Mr Ashfaq Shaikh
Student Support Administrative/Prevent Officer
I form an integral part of Student Services. Having once been a student myself I understand that it isn’t always easy, so whether you’re finding it hard to keep up academically, struggling with personal problems or you just need some information or advice, the team works extremely hard to provide all our students with resources and information which they require.
Ms Valentina Loredana Plugaru
Having started as a student with Mont Rose College in 2016, I became the top choice for the role of Employability Coordinator by volunteering in as many college-organised activities and events as I could. Volunteering at Mont Rose College has enabled me to showcase my skills and experience. My professional and personal growth from my transition makes me appreciate the support I can provide the students with for them to gain the careers they dream of.
Mr Milan Patel
Student Welfare coordinator
My role as a Welfare Coordinator is to provide information on all the means of support available to students, which include: Referring a Student to Pastoral Services, Mont Rose College Services, Sources of Financial and Hardship support, and more. My time at Mont Rose College has provided me with a deeper understanding and experience within student well-being and mental health services.
