Samson Ojo

Senior Associate Researcher

As the Senior Associate Researcher and Head of the Research Ethics Committee at Mont Rose College since January 2019, I am responsible for ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards in all research activities. This involves developing and maintaining policies, offering guidance to researchers, and collaborating with stakeholders to address emerging ethical challenges. Additionally, I serve as the Editor-in-Chief for the College’s Journal of Academic Reviews, overseeing the editorial process, coordinating peer review, and maintaining publication quality. My role also encompasses seeking research collaboration and funding opportunities, assisting with grant proposals, and managing research budgets. Furthermore, I lead research training sessions, organize events, and enhance research communication and outreach efforts. With a diverse educational background, including a PhD in Public Health and an MBA in Hospital & Health Services Management, coupled with expertise in biomedical science and bioscience, I bring valuable knowledge to support the college’s research initiatives. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice.
