Innovation, determination, and entrepreneurial thinking took centre stage at Mont Rose College as students, staff, industry professionals, and community leaders came together for the highly anticipated Angel Competition 2026 Final.
Held on 11 June 2026, the event celebrated the creativity, resilience, and ambition of seven exceptional finalists who had spent months developing their ideas into realistic and sustainable business ventures. More than a competition, the event was a showcase of what can be achieved when talent is nurtured, ideas are encouraged, and students are empowered to believe in their potential.

A Celebration of Student Entrepreneurship
The Angel Competition has become one of Mont Rose College’s most inspiring annual events, providing students with a unique platform to develop entrepreneurial skills, build confidence, and transform innovative ideas into practical business solutions.
Hosted by Ivelina Ivanova, the event opened with a reflection on the competition’s journey and the achievements of previous participants. Guests were taken through highlights from past competitions before being introduced to this year’s finalists—individuals who had demonstrated exceptional commitment throughout the programme.
The audience was also delighted to welcome back Misbah Safeer, winner of the Angel Competition 2025, whose success story served as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through dedication, perseverance, and belief in one’s vision.
Inspiring Words and Expert Guidance
The competition was officially opened by Mr Desh Sharma, Programme Manager Business Marketing Department of Mont Rose College, who spoke passionately about the importance of innovation, leadership, and creating opportunities for students to develop the skills needed for success in an ever-changing world.
The finalists’ journey would not have been possible without the support of dedicated mentors Mr Yannick Fansi, Mr Rushdan Refai  and Mrs Fathima Aqila Mohamed Ali, whose expertise, encouragement, and guidance helped students refine their business concepts and prepare for the final stage of the competition.
Throughout the programme, mentors challenged participants to think critically, strengthen their business models, and present their ideas with confidence and professionalism.

The Angel Competition is about much more than selecting a winner. It is about encouraging creativity, building confidence, developing leadership skills, and inspiring students to recognise their potential as future entrepreneurs and changemakers.
Events like these reflect Mont Rose College’s commitment to providing students with meaningful opportunities that extend beyond the classroom and prepare them for success in both their professional and personal journeys.
The College would like to thank all finalists, mentors, judges, staff members, students, and guests whose enthusiasm and support contributed to the success of this year’s event. Special appreciation goes to the Marketing Team, IT Team, Student Union, Academic Departments, and Engagement Team for their hard work behind the scenes.
