The latest Student’s Employability Monthly Meeting Café at Mont Rose College offered a fresh approach compared to previous sessions.
This time, the event brought together the Employability, Student Services, and Welfare teams, giving students access to a wide range of support in one place. Students explored career pathways, placements, and job opportunities, while also receiving guidance on academic matters, administrative support, and wellbeing services.
The informal setting made it easy for students to ask questions and have open conversations. Many left with a clearer understanding of the support available and how to access it when needed.
Despite being held during an assessment period, the session maintained steady participation and engagement. Overall, the event showed that a joined-up approach to support helps students feel more confident, informed, and prepared for their next steps.
