At Mont Rose College, we believe in creating opportunities that extend beyond our classrooms, supporting not only our students but also the wider community. On Friday, 19th September 2025, our Marketing and Employability departments partnered to deliver a Career Pathway Workshop at our Gants Hill Campus.
The Aim behind the Workshop
The workshop was designed with a clear mission:
- To help community members explore different career pathways.
- To showcase how Mont Rose College qualifications can support professional growth in sectors such as Hospitality, Marketing, and Health & Social Care.
- To equip participants with essential employability skills, including CV writing, job searching, and interview preparation.
Inspiring Sessions with Practical Value
The event welcomed motivated participants who were keen to explore new opportunities.
The first session, led by Umber Mokal (Marketing Manager), focused on career pathways, personal development, and the role of education in achieving career ambitions. Real-life examples of MRC graduates were shared, giving attendees an inspiring insight into what can be achieved through study and determination.
The second session, delivered by Eva Misheva and Barira Ahsan (Employability Coordinators), was packed with practical tips on CV development, job applications, and interview skills. Designed to be immediately applicable, this session left participants feeling more confident and prepared for their next career steps.
A Positive Impact
The atmosphere throughout the workshop was enthusiastic and engaging, with participants responding very positively to the content and delivery. They valued the practical advice, the clear structure of the sessions, and the opportunity to gain new perspectives on their career journeys.
Looking Ahead: Strengthening Community Partnerships
The success of this session demonstrates the power of collaboration and the importance of creating accessible opportunities for career development.
At Mont Rose College, we remain committed to empowering individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed. This workshop was a true reflection of that mission—and we look forward to hosting many more like it in the future.
