On 6th March 2026, the Employability Department at Mont Rose College attended a Job Fair at Westfield Stratford City, bringing together employers from sectors such as healthcare, retail, public services, and recruitment. The event aimed to strengthen employer partnerships and create new opportunities for student progression into employment.
Despite only one student attending due to unforeseen circumstances, the experience proved highly valuable. The student engaged directly with employers, explored job opportunities, and submitted applications on the day, gaining practical insight into recruitment processes and workplace expectations.
In addition, new connections were established with organisations including Greater Anglia, IQ Careers, and Holborn Recruitment, opening the door for future collaboration through workshops, recruitment sessions, and employer-led activities.
This event highlights the importance of employer engagement in supporting student success, demonstrating that even small-scale participation can lead to meaningful outcomes and long-term opportunities.
