Event Overview
On July 1st, Mont Rose College had the privilege of visiting Chadwell Heath Sixth Form Academy for their UCAS/Careers Day. Our representatives, Ivelina Ivanova and Umber Mokal, conducted three engaging and informative sessions on CV skills to prepare Year 12 students for their future career paths.
Session Highlights
Our first session started with a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of CV writing. Students learned about the importance of structuring their CVs, highlighting their skills and experiences, and tailoring their applications to specific job roles.
In the second session, Ivelina and Umber delved deeper into the nuances of crafting a standout CV. They provided valuable tips on using action verbs, quantifying achievements, and making a lasting impression on potential employers.
The day’s final session focused on the practical aspects of CV writing. Students had the opportunity to work on their CVs with guidance from our experts, ensuring they left with a polished and professional document.
