Mont Rose College (MRC) proudly participated in the Ilford Lane Litter Picking Action Day on November 27, 2024, in collaboration with Redbridge Council and Ilford BID. This impactful initiative highlighted our unwavering commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
The day began at Ilford Lane Methodist Church, where MRC students joined local community and business partners for a group photo and an engaging safety briefing. Equipped with tools and protective gear, the team enthusiastically set out to clean Ilford Lane, collecting litter and fostering a cleaner, greener environment.
The event concluded at Clementswood Church with coffee and reflections, emphasizing the importance of collective action for a sustainable future.
At Mont Rose College, sustainability is not just a concept, but a practice integrated into our ethos. From litter-picking to energy-efficient campuses and educational initiatives like our Research Conference on “Sustainable Futures Powered by AI,” we strive to inspire positive change.
Through activities like these, MRC demonstrates leadership in promoting environmental responsibility, engaging students in meaningful action, and nurturing a culture that supports both the planet and the community. A huge thank you to our students for making a difference!
Together, we are paving the way for a cleaner, sustainable future.
