The February Employability Café sessions at Mont Rose College continued to provide students with a reliable space for guidance and support across both Mont Rose House and Shakespeare House. Set in a relaxed canteen environment, the sessions encouraged students to drop in, connect, and explore their next steps.
Even during the assessment period, when attendance is usually lower, the café still attracted a good number of students. This shows that the demand for employability support remains strong. Students who attended shared positive experiences, valuing the approachable atmosphere and practical advice available.
Many students were interested in career opportunities, upcoming events, and general support to help them move forward. The sessions also gave students the confidence to ask questions and think more clearly about their future plans.
Overall, the café continues to play an important role in supporting students, offering consistent guidance when they need it most.
