Mont Rose College staff came together on Friday, 12 December 2025, to celebrate the festive season with a special Christmas dinner at the National Liberal Club in Whitehall, London. The evening marked the successful close of the academic term and offered a wonderful opportunity for staff to relax, connect and celebrate together.
Set within one of London’s most historic venues, overlooking the River Thames, the National Liberal Club provided a warm and elegant setting for the occasion. The festive atmosphere, combined with great company, made the evening both memorable and enjoyable for everyone who attended.
Bringing the Mont Rose College Community Together
The annual staff Christmas dinner is an important event in the Mont Rose College calendar. It brings together colleagues from across academic departments, administrative teams and senior management, encouraging meaningful conversations outside the usual working environment.
Staff enjoyed the chance to socialise freely, share experiences from the past year and strengthen professional relationships. Senior leaders also took time to speak with staff, reflecting on achievements and sharing positive plans. This open and friendly atmosphere helped reinforce the college’s strong sense of community.
A Festive Dining Experience to Remember
Guests were treated to a delicious three-course Christmas meal, carefully selected to suit the season. The evening began with Pear and Walnut Arancini, followed by a beautifully prepared Pan-seared Seabass Fillet as the main course. Dessert was a traditional favourite, Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was enjoyed by many.
To complete the festive dining experience, tea, coffee and classic mince pies were served, adding a cosy and seasonal touch to the evening.
Enjoying the Magic of London at Night
After dinner, the staff took a leisurely walk towards Trafalgar Square, enjoying the crisp winter air and the magical sight of London’s landmarks illuminated at night. The walk provided a relaxed and cheerful end to the evening, with plenty of laughter, photos and informal conversations along the way.
This shared experience outside the venue added an extra layer of enjoyment and helped create lasting memories among colleagues.
Celebrating Teamwork and Looking Ahead
Events like the Mont Rose College Christmas dinner are about more than celebration. They play an important role in supporting staff wellbeing, recognising hard work and strengthening teamwork across the college.
The evening ended with a strong sense of togetherness, positivity and festive cheer.
