Mont Rose College participates in what’s been called the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning!
Mont Rose College held its own Coffee Morning, alongside many others that happened on the same day, on 24th September 2021. The event was held in Mont Rose House on the Lower Ground Floor. The aim was to welcome students back to on-site studies whilst raising money and for a great cause! The event was open to all students and staff members and featured honourable special guests!
Mont Rose College is pleased to have organised this event, just as they have done in previous years, to raise money to support people with cancer. Attendees were able to bring their own cake – homemade or store bought – and enjoy tea, coffee and snacks for a small donation to Macmillan. The event also acted as a reunion of sorts, as this was the first event Mont Rose held after opening their campuses for students following their shift to online study during the pandemic.
This is not the first time Mont Rose has supported Macmillan. In previous pre-pandemic years, Mont Rose College held Coffee Mornings and Bake Sales to create awareness amongst students and staff about cancer and its impact on people’s lives and these events were a huge success in the past. The events raised funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Mont Rose College has managed to donate over £3000 in previous years and is proud to be part of such a meaningful community and cause.
