Mont Rose College, a leading community institution, dazzled the community with a festive extravaganza at its grand Christmas Fair on 22nd November 2023 at Mont Rose House Gants Hill Campus. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Cyril Bekoe of Ilford BID for contributing to the success of this remarkable event.
The Mont Rose Christmas Fair, held at the college premises, brought together over 400 enthusiastic attendees for a day of holiday joy. The event, with free entry, aimed to unite families and individuals in the spirit of the season, fostering a sense of community.
Highlights of the fair included free face painting for children, a live DJ performance by DJ Envy with festive tunes, and a diverse array of craft stalls featuring unique handmade items. Mont Rose College students showcased their talents with stalls offering delectable desserts, stylish brooches, intricate nail art, food and handy crafts. Attendees also enjoyed food from our local partners, such as Chaiiwala and Boba Bliss Gants Hill.
A standout feature was the sustainability stall, where students offered affordable, eco-friendly Christmas presents at a very reasonable price.
Santa’s Grotto, a significant attraction, spread holiday cheer by distributing gifts to attendees, who also seized the opportunity for memorable photos with Santa Claus.
The Christmas Fair, a testament to Mont Rose College’s commitment to community involvement, brought together staff, students, and local community members in a vibrant and inclusive celebration in the London Borough of Redbridge.
