Academic FAQ

Returning to Campus

  • When will my face-to-face teaching start again?

Mont Rose College will be offering hybrid teaching from January 2022. The safety of staff and students is our main priority, and we will be conducting risk assessments of our campuses so you can return to the COVID-secure campus. But in case the government guidelines change, we will inform and update you accordingly. Our priority is your health and safety; we review our risk assessment monthly to keep the campus COVID secure.

As all teaching and assessment will be conducted through hybrid learning from January 2022, all students must wear face-covering for health & safety reasons. The students have to follow the COVID code of conduct and college rules to move around the campus.
Your learning is our priority, and we understand how important it is for you to use practical facilities like the library and computer laboratory.

If we decide to move to online teaching due to any change in the external environment, all the online sessions conducted through Google Meet or MS Teams will be recorded and remain on Moodle. In the case of university courses, all the lectures happening through the medium of Collaborate are also recorded and remain on Blackboard. These recordings are helpful for those students who are unable to attend the sessions so they can go through the recorded lectures to keep with the pace of their studies.
