What is Care leaver?

A care leaver is defined as a person aged 25 or under, who has been looked after by a local authority for at least 13 weeks since the age of 14; and who was looked after by the local authority at school-leaving age or after that date.

How do I inform the College that I am a Care leaver?

If you have confirmed that you are a care leaver on the UCAS form during your admission process, then the College will know that you are a care leaver. If you have not ticked the box, but you are a care leaver, please make contact with the student services team at student.services@mrcollege.ac.uk, where the team will be able to advise further.
