Your graduation day is a special occasion to celebrate your academic achievements.
Mont Rose College invites you to the Summer Graduation Ceremony scheduled for 14:30, Friday 28th June 2019 at Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Westminster.
Registration is now open for the ceremony. If you are eligible to be invited to attend the ceremony you will have received a complete Graduation Booklet with instructions about confirming your place, hiring your gown and purchasing guest tickets.
The Venue
The venue for Mont Rose College’s Graduation Ceremony 2019 is Queen Elizabeth II Centre, on Broad Sanctuary, Westminster, London. The Queen Elizabeth II Centre venue and is located near Westminster underground station.
2018 Highlights
GOWN HIRE
The long-established and distinctive tradition of wearing a gown to a graduation ceremony highlights the unique importance of the occasion, and the MRC-specific design adds to the students’ sense of pride in their institution and their achievements.
Academic dress is compulsory for this event. You must wear the correct academic dress in order to graduate at a ceremony.
Gown Booking Information
The Official Gown Hire supplier to Mont Rose College is Ede & Ravenscroft. We recommend you to order your gown using the link below https://www.gownhire.co.uk/Gownhire/FindInstitution.aspx
You can book this from the 29th March 2019 to the closing date Friday 31st May 2019. Please note the link will close by midday (UK time).
Please see the following steps which you will need to take in order to book your gown for your graduation.
You will receive a confirmation email from the booking system once you have completed your order. If you pay by card, you will also receive a confirmation of your card payment directly from the card processor. You will collect your gown on the day of your ceremony at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre.
Photography
Success Photography will offer a professional photography service at the Graduation Ceremony. The photographers can take an individual portrait of you as well as photographs with family members and friends. When you order your academic dress with us, you will also be offered available photography options for your ceremony as a part of your order.

ON THE DAY
Doors open at 10:00am
Collect your tickets from the ticket collection desk.
You will be able to collect your tickets 2 hours before the start of your ceremony from the ticket collection desk. The location of the ticket collection desk will be confirmed at a later time.Collect your gown from Ede & Ravenscroft at the venue.
You will be able to collect your gown 2 hours before the start of the ceremony.Have your professional photograph taken by Success Photography.
Our official Photographers ‘Success Photography’ will be located in the Gielgud, Olivier, Burton and Redgrave on 2nd floor.Arrive at the Churchill Hall 30 minutes before your ceremony. All graduates and guests must be seated 15 minutes before the ceremony start time.
Please note latecomers will not be admitted, so it is very important for you to allow plenty of time to travel to the venue.Attend a celebratory reception in the Pickwick after your ceremony.
All ticket holders are welcome to attend a celebratory reception after the Graduation ceremony with light refreshments and a live orchestra.Collect your Alumni card and learn about Alumni benefits.

The Graduation Ceremony is a formal occasion and we request graduands and their guests to dress appropriately. Academic gown is compulsory to attend the ceremony.
Jeans and trainers are not acceptable forms of dress for the Graduation Ceremony.
Special requirements
If you or any of your guests have any special requirements which the Events Office should be aware of, you must inform us when booking your tickets.
HOW TO BOOK
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR CERMONY TICKET INFORMATION
Mont Rose College reserves the right to withdraw tickets from sale before the booking deadline, if necessary. To avoid disappointment we advised you to book as early as possible.
Tickets will not be sent to you, they must be collected from the reception on Ground & Fifth floor at Mont Rose House. On the day of Graduation Ceremony you must show your ticket at the reception desk at the venue.

Children from 8 years onward are allowed to participate in the ceremony.

Summer 2019 Graduation Ceremony
Terms and Conditions
It is the responsibility of the graduand to read through and understand the Terms and Conditions below and to contact the Ceremony Team if they have any queries.
REGISTERING TO ATTEND
Registration for the Summer 2019 Ceremony will open the week commencing 29th March 2019 till 31st May 2019.
All registrations, including full payment for any guest tickets, must be completed by 3rd June 2019.
Graduands who inform the Events and Ceremony Team of their interest to attend the ceremonies after the deadline of 3rd June 2019 are not guaranteed attendance at Mont Rose College Graduation Ceremony or reception.
- TICKETS
Graduands can purchase up to two guest tickets initially, one guest is free.
Tickets must be purchased in full before the deadline on 3rd June 2019.
Tickets are subject to availability, can be changed or withdrawn by Mont Rose College and may become unavailable before the deadline above.
All graduands who are attending the ceremony must bring with them their College ID to collect their tickets.
All graduands must confirm their guest’s names to the Event and Ceremony Team.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Tickets purchased for Mont Rose College Graduation ceremonies are non-refundable.
All tickets are non-transferable and cannot be transferred between graduands during ceremony period.
ACADEMIC DRESS AND GOWNS
Academic dress is compulsory for all graduands attending the ceremony.
Gown bookings can be made at the time of booking ceremony tickets.
Graduands must hire and make payment in full for their academic dress before the deadline of Midday (UK time) on 30th May 2019. After this deadline, the hire of academic dress and attendance at the ceremony cannot be guaranteed.
Mont Rose College reserves the right to refuse admittance to graduands who are not wearing the correct academic dress, or who are inappropriately dressed.
FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Mont Rose College’s Graduation Ceremony is professionally filmed and a photographer will be present.
Both footage and photographs may be used by the College for media publications, advertising and future graduation publications.
By registering to attend the ceremony and purchasing guest tickets, graduands are giving permission for the recording, transmission and use of images (both still and moving) of the graduand and their guests. Mont Rose College retain all rights in any images.
Graduands and guests are asked not to use flash photography during the ceremony so not to disturb other guests or affect the professional filming of photography.
PRINTING OF NAMES
By registering to attend graduands are giving permission for their name to be printed in the graduation program and on graduation booklet that is published by Mont Rose College.
CHILDREN
Graduation is a formal occasion and therefore children under the age of eight are not allowed to attend the ceremony.
All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times whilst at ceremony.
ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Graduands must inform the Events and Ceremony Team of any special requirements before the registration deadline on 3rd June 2019. Graduands must include as much information as possible in their request to ensure that it can be accommodated appropriately. Requests made after the deadline cannot be guaranteed and will be dependent on availability within the ceremony venue.
CONTACT INFORMATION
It is the responsibility of the graduand to ensure that their contact details are kept up to date on their student record as the Events and Ceremony Team will invite graduands to attend via phone calls and email addresses on their student record.
Mont Rose College is not responsible if invitations are not received by graduands because their contact details are not kept up to date.
DEGREE CERTIFICATES
Degree certificates are not presented on stage at Graduation Ceremony.
RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY
Mont Rose College has the right to refuse entry to both graduands and guests at Graduation Ceremonies and receptions.
Graduands and guests must arrive dressed appropriately for a formal occasion.
All graduands and guests must arrive at the ceremony venue no later than 1 hour before the start of the ceremony.
Mont Rose College reserves the right to ask any person to leave the premises if they are acting in a manner, which in the opinion of the College may cause a breach of the peace, cause harm to others or cause damage to the premises.
DATA PROTECTION
In accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018, the Events and Ceremonies Team can only discuss a graduands ceremony with the graduand. Information cannot be disclosed to anyone other than the graduand.
All student names will be taken directly from the student records system.
If graduands do not wish for their names to be appeared on the programme or on merchandise they must inform the Events and Ceremony Team in writing by email by no later than Tuesday 30th May 2019.
DISCLAIMER
If a graduation ceremony cannot take place or is delayed due to circumstances beyond the control of Mont Rose College, the College will not be liable for any losses direct, or otherwise, incurred by graduands and their guests. This includeds, but is not limited to, fire, explosion, terrorist act (or threat of terrorist act), act of God, pandemic, industrial action or dispute involving Mont Rose College, or the venue at which the ceremonies are due to be held.
When registering attendance graduands will be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions and will not be able to purchase tickets without doing this. Mont Rose College confirms that failure to comply with the above Terms and Conditions may result in a graduand losing their place at the Graduation ceremony and reception.
