Desh Sharma
Marketing Programme Manager
My qualifications include a Masters in Commerce. I am also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. I started my career in banking, and it included a position in a bank in Jersey. I have expertise in trade finance, foreign exchange, and recovery of bad debts. I also trained fellow bankers in a training centre in preparation of final accounts including Statement of Assets and Liabilities because of my background in Accounting and Finance.
I found my passion in teaching when I joined Mont Rose College in Jan 2014 as a lecturer. I was given the responsibility of Programme Manager of the Business department in Sept. 2016. I have a great team who puts in all efforts to cater to the needs of all our students and also impart them a great learning experience.
My other qualifications include Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education from the University of Greenwich and an Internal Quality Verifier. I have also successfully completed the University of Cambridge’s High Impact Leadership Programme during Covid period. It was the need of the hour and helped me successfully navigate through that difficult period.

Dr. Tariq Mehmood
I have been a distinguished academic team member at MRC since 2021, with a rich academic and professional background spanning over 20 years. I hold a PhD, MBA, BSc, ABA and PGCert degrees. I embody a lifelong commitment to education and excellence.
With extensive experience in lecturing, research, and consultancy, I have made significant contributions to academia and the industry. At MRC, I play a pivotal role in lecturing, researching and mentoring students. My dedication to academic excellence and student development highlights a deep-seated commitment to fostering the next generation of professionals and advancing the frontiers of knowledge.

Francis Marfo
Marketing Lecturer
I joined Mont Rose College in 2013 as a business management lecturer. The institution’s environment has been quite valuable in terms of enhancing my experience in academia. This has helped me in making a positive impact on the students that I have taught. My focus is conscientiously and continuously to help students understand the different schools of thought in engaging in research that enhances societal and academic knowledge. I have been teaching research methods previously and still teaching at Mont Rose College. In addition, I am at the moment pursuing a PhD in leadership.

Gowher Malik
Marketing Lecturer
With over a decade of teaching experience and an excellent educational background, I have seamlessly integrated theoretical knowledge with practical applications in the classroom, delivered impactful education, and empowered students with the skills necessary to thrive in the field business management. Additionally, in my tenure of internal verification at Mont Rose College, I streamlined the quality assurance system by applying rigorous quality assurance measures, thereby maintaining educational standards and ensuring regulatory compliance.
My educational journey has been characterised by a strong foundation in both technical expertise and business acumen. Beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, I gained comprehensive knowledge in IT systems. Building upon this foundation, I pursued a Master of Science in Computer Systems and Networks, delving deeper into the intricacies of IT Systems and Information Science.
Recognizing the importance of holistic business knowledge, I furthered my education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the university of Strathclyde Business School, UK. This interdisciplinary program equipped me with strategic management skills, financial acumen, and leadership abilities essential for navigating today’s dynamic business landscape.

Dr Kwabena Frimpong

I have experience of more than ten years of teaching in the higher education sector. I have taught a range of Business Management, Risk Management, Economics, and Cyber Crime related subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students. I have also offered customized training sessions to a range of practitioners in the UK. I am currently the Team Leader for the New Buckinghamshire University Partnership Programme.

I joined the Business Marketing teaching team in 2020, although, I have been a member of the Mont Rose College community since 2015. It has been an exciting journey since joining the group. Dr Sunanda Dola
Business and Marketing Lecturer
In 2021, I became a part of Mont Rose College team, bringing with me over two decades of teaching experience in higher education. Driven by my passion for teaching, I’ve continuously refined my skills and deepened my knowledge across various disciplines. The supportive and professional environment at MRC has allowed me to thrive and find true fulfilment in my work.
With qualifications in Business Management and Environmental studies, I hold a CMI Level 7 qualification in Strategic Management and Leadership. My research interests encompass Entrepreneurship, Information Systems Management, Sustainable Business Practices, Agri-food Business, and Conservation Biology.

Dr Lakshani Nissanga Mendis
Business Marketing Lecturer
I am holding a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. As a dedicated member of the faculty at Mont Rose College, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role as a lecturer. My academic background includes an MBA from the University of West London and a BA (Hons) in Business and Management from the University of Northumbria.
Since joining Mont Rose College in April 2021, I have been committed to guiding students in the BSc (Hons) Business Management program and Higher National Diploma (HND) courses. My responsibilities encompass preparing and delivering lectures, developing teaching materials, and supervising dissertations for MBA students from Buckinghamshire New University.
Prior to my tenure at Mont Rose College, I held various positions in academia and industry, including roles in lecturing and financial consultancy. This diverse experience has equipped me with a unique blend of academic rigor and practical insight that I bring to my teaching approach.

Mr Yannick Fansi
Marketing Lecturer
I have over ten years of experience in teaching at HE institutions in the UK, including the University of Sussex and Kingston University. In Mont Rose, I teach various modules for the Business Management programme. I also lead specialist modules of the accounting and finance pathway and provide analytical support on an ad-hoc basis to professional services colleagues. I hold a master’s degree in International Finance from the University of Dundee.

Dr. Piyumika Kithulgoda Gamage
DBA, MBA, BSC (Hons), CMgr MCMI
Business Marketing Lecturer
With an academic journey that spans a DBA from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in 2023, an MBA, and a BSc Hons, coupled with my status as a Chartered Manager (CMgr) and a member of the CMI since 2018, I bring a unique blend of real-world experience and scholarly insight to the classroom.
My professional voyage began in the realm of management, where I spent over four years navigating through various industries. This experience was not just a career for me but a journey of profound learning and personal growth. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for making a tangible impact on the world through education. Driven by a desire to foster change and development, I transitioned into higher education, aiming to nurture individuals in their professional, social, and academic endeavours.
My research interests are deeply rooted in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and higher education. Specifically, my doctoral research delved into how MBA programmes can enhance CSR practices among managers. This exploration reflects my specialisation in strategic management, with a keen focus on sustainability and corporate social responsibility. I believe these areas are pivotal for cultivating responsible leaders who can navigate the complex challenges of our times.

Dr Smita Shukla
Business Marketing Lecturer
I am a qualified healthcare professional with over 21 years of experience in the Healthcare and Teaching domain. My core skill set and experience include process transformation according to quality standards, data analysis and defining key performance indicators (KPIs), documenting & standardizing operations procedures, and operational excellence across the organization.
My teaching experience spans from teaching junior doctors, nurses, and midwives to HND & Top Up students.
I joined Mont Rose’ dynamic team in Jan 2020, and it has been an excellent teaching and learning experience.
As a teacher, my goal is to implement an instructional and supportive learning program that will result in learners acquiring knowledge and achieving the desired qualifications.
