If there are any responsibilities you could feasibly pass on to trusted employees, thereby freeing up time for pursuing continued education, you’ll be able to complete your degree or diploma, and still make time for checking in on your business, ensuring that it’s moving in the right direction. Take it a step at a time
If you’re planning to continue education as a business owner, you may, understandably, want to get it out of the way as quickly as possible. However, to make the most of the education you have access to, and still keep your business in a healthy state, you may need to take things slow. Take it a step at a time, and figure out a schedule that suits you and your business responsibilities. Create a support network
Although having people to lean on for support may not help you find the time you need for continuing education, it will ensure that you don’t get too overwhelmed with the demands of both the qualification(s) and the business. Once you’ve thought about your plans for further education, talk them over with your family and fellow C-suite execs. If you’re not able to go in with a dependable support network, your education will be much more difficult to pursue, and ultimately, not worth the investment of time and money.
